What can you expect?

A guided tour of the expo with good stories and background on the world of virtual reality, artificial intelligence and serious gaming. We walk past the stands, demos and partners — each of whom, from their own perspective and expertise, wants to contribute something worthwhile to society by bringing technology, people and the question at hand together.

The expo holds more than demos and project stories: it also opens up the worlds of BRIX — a connected network of living labs, research and production facilities united around a single partnership. Together they can take on larger challenges and organise the makers, researchers, facilities and processes those need — not per project, but for the whole innovation journey, from first exploration to a delivered solution or market launch.

BRIX is a partnership between MindLabs, Enversed, Fontys, TU/e, BUas, Tilburg University and H20 Esports Campus. Together we pick up questions from the market and from society and connect them to lasting innovation journeys.

Not projects that run aground at the prototype, but long-running tracks in which education, research and industry strengthen each other and move together, instead of working from separate silos.

Not only building, but also validating and proving. Innovation is new, and building goes hand in hand with measuring and proving. At BRIX it is not about the app or the tool, not about the licence, but about every condition needed to make an impact. Technological and social.

BRIX connects clients, IX makers and suppliers with the right expertise, facilities and programmes around VR, AR, AI, games and interactive media — from experiment and validation to application and scale-up.
