BRIX Kickoff

You are invited because you helped make BRIX possible — as a consortium partner, or with a letter of intent or another contribution to the proposal. This morning is the official kick-off: of BRIX as an IX lab, and of the ongoing collaboration underneath it.

We start with what stands today. Which labs there are, which facilities and programmes are ready, and which questions have come in so far. Then we look ahead: the first tracks, how a question from the market finds its way to a lab, and what that asks of us as partners in the coming year.

In between, each lab introduces itself briefly. Most partners know BRIX, but not yet each other — and that is exactly what makes a consortium useful: knowing who is good at what before you have a question.

After the programme there is networking coffee: no more presentations, but time to keep talking with the people you meet here.

The morning falls in the middle of Dutch Design Week, at the Enversed Experience Center. From eleven the expo is open — nine days of GAMECHANGERS, with work by the partners themselves in it. Stay as long as you like: there are hosts on the floor to walk you through it.
